Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
This policy explains how Athlos handles your personal data when you join the Founding 50 waitlist. We collect only what we need, and we never sell your data.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Athlos (legal entity being finalised). For any privacy question, contact us at info@athl-os.com.
2. What we collect
When you reserve a spot we collect:
- your email address or phone number (whichever you submit);
- technical sign-up details: the source/CTA you used, UTM tags, timestamp and your consent;
- if you join at launch, subscription and payment details (handled by our payment processor — card data is never stored on Athlos servers).
3. Why we use it & legal basis
We use your contact details to send a confirmation (double opt-in), occasional updates about the build, and a launch invite. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you tick the consent box and confirm via the email we send. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Who we share it with (processors)
We don't sell your data. We use trusted processors that act only on our behalf:
- Beehiiv — email delivery and subscriber management;
- Google (Google Sheets) — our internal lead list;
- Vercel — hosting of this website.
Some processors may handle data outside the EU (e.g. the US); where they do, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your contact details until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we delete or anonymise them within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep them.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email info@athl-os.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Slovenia, the Information Commissioner, ip-rs.si).
7. Unsubscribe
Every email has an unsubscribe link — one click and it takes effect immediately.
8. Cookies
This page does not set advertising cookies. If we add analytics later we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.
9. Athletes under 18
Athletes under 18 require parental consent before signing up to the service.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the latest version; significant changes will be communicated by email or on this page.
